Darrell Polk is a veteran executive with a long history of successfully transforming businesses.  Darrell is focused on bringing his business experience, energy, and passion to the educational process and to small businesses.  He believes that business process improvement models (focusing on quality, process improvement, strategy, and results) are long overdue in the educational world.  He also wants to use his background to help entrepreneurs achieve immediate benefits by giving them access to improved management practices and tools.

After earning his college degree from Beloit College (majoring in History and Secondary Education), Darrell spent the next twenty-plus years of his career with three of the nation’s largest insurance companies. He has:

• Transformed underperforming operations
• Developed and implemented profitable and sustainable business models
• Built motivated and committed teams, and
• Improved the customer experience

For the next three years of his career, he directed professional services and built services-related products for one of the leading educational software companies.  This experience gave him the opportunity to move away from the insurance industry and closer to his passion – helping kids.
